The Kingston Mill

One of the main student hangouts. They were asking if we had a regulars card, which took some of the price off. That says to me they overcharge you if you don't have one.
There was a Rowing Association party going on in the corner, one guy had a good rhyme about 'having it away' with dead people.
Friendly service, but quite rowdy atmosphere.

This place I found to be quite good, defiantly one for the students and being an ex-Kingston student I was quite annoyed that I had never frequented this place during my student days as it does seem to have a fun atmosphere. There was a Uni rowing club having a social event near to where we were sitting and everyone seemed to be in high spirits which had a positive effect to the atmosphere, especially liked the recital of the limerick ‘Jack the Necrophiliac’. Overall look to the place was quite dark with different lighting in the various sections, some areas cramped and other seemed quite spacious with cubby holes her and there. I also noticed a line on the wall by the bar registering the lowest (and quite impressive) Limbo score at a previous bar event.
